Dr. Seuss Week

To help celebrate one of my favorite authors we will be reading lots of Dr. Seuss books and having some fun activities.  We will be watching the cat in the hat and green eggs and ham.  Making cat in the hat hats.  Cooking green eggs and ham this week as well.  Reading oh the places you will go and making a journal.  Also making a chart on our favorite Dr. Suess book.

WORKBOOKS 

We also are going to be working alot out of workbooks till the end of May.  So you may be noticing a smaller amount of worksheets being sent home.

Developmental Reports:

I have decided to test the children during class time this year and it has taken a few extra weeks to finish all of my developmental reports.  Please be patient they will be coming home if you have not yet recieved them.

End of the year picnic.

Our picnic will be on Friday May   at 9:30am.  The sign up sheet for food will be put out 2 weeks before this date.  Our picnic usually last till around 11:00 or so.  All family members are welcome. This will be a time for the kids to all play together before they venture on into their next stage of life :).  They also will be singing a little song and recieving their preschool diploma's.   I am also working on hiring a clown to do face painting but havn't heard back from him yet.

Kindergarten:

 I am going to try to walk our 3-dayers over to our kindergarten classroom to take a tour of what kindergarten looks like this week.  This will give them the oppritunity to ask the kindergarten teacher or myself any questions they have and help make the transition a little easier. :)

Thank you to those parents who were so kind to bring in the paper towels we sure so appreciate them.
