God bless all of you this morning! I am writing to remind you that tomorrow we will be having a bake sale to raise funds to help support the Petersen family in these difficult times. Student Council has organized the event. Please send any baked good you would like to donate. Items will be sold before school, at both lunches, and after school. Thank you for supporting this charitable effort.
Also, a reminder that tonight is the DDA meeting at 5:30 followed by the Booster's meeting at 6:30. Those heading the DDA have asked that you please bring ideas with you! Also, bring any auction items that you obtained so that it can be inventoried and we can see what we still need to continue making this fundraiser a fun success!
Please remember that we do not have school on Monday. The office will most likely be closed. My husband and I will be in process of transporting 24 computer units donated by Baker College after their upgrade. We have made so many technology improvements this year and God continues to bless us! Thank you to Connie Wiggins whose efforts made this donation possible.
Today after school teachers will take part in professional development for an electronic student management system. After piloting two programs and taking part in presentations by teachers regarding use friendly interface, flexibility, affordability, and technical support we have decided to go with Teacher Ease. More information will be sent home in regards to this next semester. Second semester begins Tuesday, January 17. Reports cards will be sent home on Tuesday.
Last but not least I would like to thank the Knights of Columbus for sponsoring our free throw competition last Friday. We would like to congratulate the following students who are moving on to the next level:
