From our pep rally to Shamrock games, and all of our cozy little readers today snuggling up with a good book, Catholic Schools Week is off to a great start! I am proud of our 7th graders who participated in the Friendship Games at Powers today with Matt Wiskur earning a medal in the 3 Point Shooting Competition and Seyi Adigun earning a medals in Art. It was pleasure standing by the the side of Brennan Wiggins with our school banner. God bless our Shamrocks!
I look forward to meeting all our grandparents tomorrow and enjoying a family luncheon. PLEASE REMEMBER TO JOIN US FOR EVENING PRAYER AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE CHURCH! We will be celebrating the, "Presentation of the Chalice," obtained by Knights of Columbus for St. Mary's. The chalice will hold the precious blood of our Lord on school masses. This chalice will be available for families to take home for a week and have as a cornerstone to strengthen the routine and depth of your families prayer life. Also, we hope it will increase prayers for the success of our parish and school as we work together to answer God's call. You will have an opportunity to have your family sign up to take the chalice home for a week after the prayer service.
