Dear Visitor:
Our school is always filled with love, so I can only imagine how special tomorrow will be celebrating St. Valentine. Don't forget students may wear shades of red or pink shirts, turtlenecks, or sweaters with uniform pants.
Also, we are having a special Spirit Day on Wednesday. Mrs. Sharp, principal of St. Robert's, notified me that attendance has been a little low for our Saints basketball team. In a team effort, both St. Mary's and St. Robert's are offering FREE admittance (student only) into the Wednesday night game at St. Robert's for the CLASS or CLASSES who show the most "Spirit" on Wednesday. Students are asked to help their class win by wearing a Spirit shirt or sweatshirt on Wednesday, February 15 with uniform pants. A note has been sent home in regards this incentive. Please support our athletic teams!
If you are wondering when our 5/6 and 7/8 basketball teams are playing, check out the Athletic calendar by going to our school web site which was updated today!
Last, but not least, I would like to encourage you to keep up with your child's grades and assignments by visiting our new online parent portal: www.teacherease.com. Teachers are learning the software, but we are getting the hang of it. We are very excited to provide this instant communication with you. If you haven't already, you will be receiving an invitation to create a login to the parent portal. Thank you for your patience as we embark on this grand adventure!
Last, but not least, can you feel the 80's in the air already? It looks like Boosters' parents and teachers are getting a head start on their SPIRIT for our annual Dinner Dance Auction on February 25. I heard it through the grapevine that "Thriller" dance practice will be held for Parents and Teachers tomorrow at 3:15 and again at 6:15 with our very own Mrs. Stacy Brew as our hip hop dance instructor. All are welcome!
God bless,
Diane Martindale, Principal
