We offer religious formation for Pre-K-8th grade, including sacramental preparation in our Sunday classes. Our second graders make their First Reconciliation/Holy Communion and our 8th graders are preparing for their fall, 2012, Confirmation.
Sunday mornings (10:15-11:45 a.m.) are a busy time at St. Mary's. In the fall, all of our students gather for student-led prayer services. We have parent gatherings throughout the year where our parents come together to learn and grow in the faith by sharing their personal experiences and discovering that they are not alone in the challenges of raising Catholic children in a secular society.
We provide an opportunity for our families to come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus with our big Nativity party in December. Throughout the year, various grades visit St. Mary's Rosary Makers and make their own rosaries while learning about the work of this dedicated group of volunteers who make rosaries to send around the world!
Our children have discovered a family in St. Mary's Religious Education. Our Catechists are dedicated to passing on the faith in truth, while modeling what it means to be an adult, practicing Catholic. We are a warm and welcoming group and you will notice it as soon as you walk in the door!
If you would like to join our family, please contact me for more information.
