My name is Amy Facchinello and I feel very blessed to be teaching art at St. Mary’s. I graduated from Fenton High School and received my Bachelor’s in elementary education from U of M-Flint. After graduating, I began teaching for Flint Community Schools and worked there for 22 years. I graduated two more times from U of M-Flint with an MBA and also an MPA in School Administration.
My husband Jerome and I were married 15 years ago on the island of Kauai. We live in Grand Blanc and have two wonderful children. Michael is 13 and in 8th grade and Monica is 12 and in 7th grade. They both attend Holy Family Catholic School. Our children play practically every sport available at Holy Family as well as travel soccer and we are heavily involved with Boy Scouts which keeps us very busy.
In addition, to teaching, I am also a fashion stylist for a direct sales company called Cabi. We have a dog named Jake and an outdoor cat that’s adopted our house that we call Rooney.
I look forward to getting to know you and your family and being a part of your children’s education.
